Welcome! I’m a political theorist who works at the intersection of democratic theory, modern social theory, and political economy. Current projects include a book on what’s political about money; a series of articles on race, gender, and mass incarceration; and a developing project on the politics of debt in the U.S.
Two articles from my current project on money and politics have been published in Political Theory. Coauthored work on mass incarceration has been published in Perspectives on Politics and the UCLA Criminal Justice Law Review; another is forthcoming in Daedalus. I completed my PhD at Cornell University in 2022 and have since held research and teaching positions at Cornell, Georgetown University, and the U.S. Commission on Civil Rights.
